Call Generation

Ameritec Allegro and Fortissimo Network Load Generators meet the telephony call generation needs of Network Equipment Manufacturer and Service Provider Development, Quality Assurance, Interoperability, Production and Network Test groups.

System Performance and Capacity

Generating calls in volume (load testing) is a traditional use of Ameritec’s Fortissimo products. Multiple units can be run as a single system to simulate hundreds to thousands of subscribers generating thousands to millions of Busy Hour Call Attempts. System flexibility allows the user to generate call traffic synchronously or randomly as well as to provide a wide variety of calling scenarios.

TDM-IP Interoperability

Allegro and Fortissimo units support analog, TDM and IP interfaces and thus provide the ability to test VoIP gateway and router functionality. The user may verify voice quality, codec performance, T.30 to T.38 fax interoperability, modem transport and end-to-end call completion.

Voice Quality and Voice Path Impairment Measurement

Allegro and Fortissimo Network Load Generators measure voice quality (R-factor, MOS, PSQM and PESQ) along with the relevant voice path impairments (delay, packet loss, level, noise and SNR) and capture the data for each call to gain further insight into voice quality issues.

CLASS Features and Caller ID

Allegro and Fortissimo analog units support verification of CLASS calling features such as Caller ID, 3-way Calling, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Call Transfer, Call Hold, E911, as well as other features.

Fax Testing

Fortissimo call generators can create and verify T.30 and T.38 fax traffic over analog, TDM and IP interfaces.

Failover Testing

Measure call interruptions and verify system recovery during failovers with Allegro and Fortissimo.

Voicemail, IVR and Voice Dial Systems

Flexible call scripting and speech playback allow Allegro and Fortissimo units to generate subscriber traffic into voicemail, interactive voice response and voice dial systems.

End-to-End Network Testing

Allegro units can be strategically placed throughout a Service Provider VoIP network and used to place test calls for verification of call completion and call quality.

Automate Regression Testing

Allegro and Fortissimo units may be integrated into a test automation environment. Load archived test configuration files, execute tests and collect reports and error information via Command Line Interface.

Subscriber Simulation

Fovea Product Family - Video Quality

The Fovea product realistically simulates IP video subscribers and analyzes video Quality of Experience on hundreds of streams simultaneously. Viewer behavior is independently scriptable per endpoint and viewer actions may be generated synchronously or randomly.

Multicast IPTV and DOCSIS 3.0

Use Fovea to generate IPTV subscriber traffic and analyze video quality behind multiple residential gateways, ONTs or cable modems.

Unicast VOD

Test video servers and delivery infrastructure by using Fovea to simulate Video On Demand viewers requesting, playing, pausing, rewinding and fast-forwarding video.

GoldenWatch - Network QOS Quality Monitoring

Ameritec GoldenWatch Network QoS Test System cost-effectively monitors the call quality of VoIP and legacy voice networks. Remotely located test responders place and answer test calls, measuring call completion rate, voice quality and network impairments, allowing the user to discern geographical and time-of-day variations in call quality.
